Meet the team
Andy Seymour
Born and raised in Lincoln, Andy has lived there his whole life. He started ASAP in June 2005 with a vision of providing professional accountancy services to small and medium businesses.
Andy is also a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Andy is an avid sports fan. He is a season ticket holder at Sheffield United F.C and likes to travel with the Barmy Army all over the World following the England Cricket Team. He also enjoys socialising and quizzes, having appeared on Fifteen To One and Telly Stack. He has also been spotted in the audience of Question Time. Andy enjoys golf and is happy to discuss business on the golf course if necessary!
John Harrison
Having started his working life in retail, John left a management position to pursue a career in accountancy. John trained in Lincoln at a top 50 accountancy practice where he gained a wealth of experience looking after a wide range of clients.
John is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and this, coupled with his previous business experiences, helps him to look beyond the numbers when advising clients.
Having gained much experience in the agricultural sector, John works closely with a number of farming businesses as well as a wide range of other business sectors.
Married with four children and a dog, John’s social life revolves around his family as well as having an active role in his local church. John enjoys a turn in the kitchen, unfortunately he enjoys eating more! Anna is currently leading the campaign to improve his fitness regime.
Anna Haxby
Anna was born and raised in Lincoln and apart from four years living in Portugal, has lived there ever since. Anna met her husband in Portugal and they have three young boys together, who take up the majority of her time.
After finishing school Anna attended Lincoln College where she completed her A Levels and trained to become a horse riding instructor.
Moving to Portugal and having her children forced a ‘career change’ and in 2009 she decided to restart her working life in Accountancy. She has been at the practice for two years and is currently studying towards her AAT.
Outside of work, when not tied up with child related duties, she enjoys going to the gym and running. Last year she took on her first half marathon and is currently training for the Lincoln 10k. Anna also enjoys (perhaps a little too much) socializing with friends and family and often has friends around for dinner as cooking is another one of her hobbies.
Diane Richardson
Diane was born in the East End of London where she lived until she was 11 when in 1975 her family moved to Lincoln. She attended William Farr Church of England School and then Lincoln College of Technology studying for her Private Secretary’s Certificate.
Diane worked mainly in finance during her early work years but after having her children has worked part-time in retail, for her father’s business and more recently in reception for Lincoln City Football Club.
Diane came to work at ASAP in October 2009 and is principally responsible for payroll and administration.
She is divorced with 4 daughters but is marrying her ‘other half’ in 2012.
Property renovation is amongst her varying hobbies which she does together with her partner. She has been known to wield a sledgehammer but more likely a paint brush, interior design being her forte.

We are located in Cygnet House on Exchange Road, just off Doddington Road in Lincoln.
